That made me laugh.

Some of the physics in the opening sequence made we wince a bit (being heavily armoured or a warship has damn all to do with how fast a body can move through space - thrust and momentum are really all there is to it - but I guess I can forgive a grunt for not knowing that). Although part of me thinks that a bit more effort lining up the narrator's motivation for "helping" Kennie would have been good, another part (the part that is a ex-grunt) thinks that actually his motivation was bloody obvious. Soldiers have souls, too, and there's no price not worth paying for a clean one.

But it made me laugh all the same. And that's cool.

Mind you, seeing what those heads-in-jars get up to on Futurama, it doesn't look like being a head on a stick is all that bad...

Wink

Seems to me in a society with the ability to maintain a living head on a stick, some form of robotic/synthetic means of locomotion, i.e. a body could be made available. But that is another story . . . .

Over all I liked it, especially the the neat ending.
